A balance bike is a great way to build up your child's balance and cross-body coordination from a young age. The thing about balance bikes is that they don't have pedals, so your child pushes the bike along with their legs while straddling it.

A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without having to worry about them having too many accidents - because your child has a foot on the ground at all times and is able to regain balance or stop the bike. Being able to zoom around and control their own speed (much more easily than on an ordinary bike) gives your child a feeling of being free. At the same time, you can also teach your child about traffic signals, left/right, and being considerate of other road users.
