A brand-new, super fun way to train balance through play. The Giant Air Board helps strengthen feet, knees, and hips while your child has fun staying steady.
Gonge, a trusted name in active play, has introduced a brand-new twist: an air balance board. Instead of the classic solid dome underneath, this one features an inflatable air cushion for a whole new balancing experience.
That’s what makes the Air Board so special—you can adjust the challenge to suit your child. With more air, the rounded base becomes firmer and trickier to balance on. With less air, it flattens out, making it easier to stay steady.
This is a larger version of the popular Air Board, with an impressive diameter of 58 cm.
The Air Board comes uninflated and is easy to inflate using a needle pump, like this one.
The board can be used in lots of different ways:
• Stand on the Air Board and keep your balance by adjusting your feet and knees. Remember to keep your joints slightly bent!
• Stand on one leg.
• Try rolling the Air Board in a circle along the edge while standing on it.
• Sit down and lift your arms and legs off the ground while balancing—it’s a fun way to work those tummy muscles.
Add the Air Board to a fun obstacle course challenge.
Suitable from age 3. Also suitable for seniors.
Here, important skills are engaged, which are wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- This boosts your child's awareness of their own body.
- Strengthens the vestibular sense, which improves balance, eyesight, and body awareness.
- This is a way for your child to improve their proprioception, which increases your child's confidence to use their body in other types of physical play and benefits their concentration.

Motor skills furniture is the complete opposite of sitting still and staying calm. Being able to rock and roll (literally) can in fact help children with motor restlessness calm down. Your child's vestibular sense and proprioception need input to function at their best. And when your child's need for sensory input is met, the body will relax and function better.
Motor skills furniture bought at Toy Academy is tough and can withstand years of use.
