Beach Ball Ø25 cm
A wonderful classic beach ball, the perfect size for both water play and motor skills activities.Â
Throwing and catching games in the water on sunny summer days, whether in a swimming pool or in the ocean, are one of the most delightful ways to move your body. And all the different movements really put your child’s brain to work coordinating and controlling the body.Â
A beach ball is also a fantastic tool for practising motor skills with young kids. Here are a few play ideas to get you started:Â
1: For small babies down to 3 months. Babies benefit greatly from spending time on their tummies and learning to lift their heads, as this strengthens their back and neck muscles. Lifting their head during tummy time is one of the first essential physical skills that babies need to start rolling from their back onto their tummy, push themselves forward, crawl, and eventually learn to stand and walk.Â
It is important to challenge young children's bodies in different ways, in safe environments and to an appropriate extent, of course. Stimulating the body also supports the brain in developing social and emotional skills young children need. Use the beach ball for tummy time practice by placing your little one on top of the ball on their tummy and supporting their body while you slowly and calmly roll them back and forth with the movement of the ball. If your baby is having fun, feel free to pick up the pace a little. You can gradually start using bigger and bigger balls. With a diameter of 25 cm, this ball is a great option to start with. Your child will begin to lift their head, reach towards the floor, and explore by moving their head to look around. For children who aren’t too fond of tummy time, the ball exercise is a great way to ease into it.Â
2: For older children, playing beach ball hockey is super fun. Set up a pitch on the lawn or the beach with a goal at each end. Now players need to score in each other's goals by shooting the beach ball across the pitch using water guns.

Play is essential for children’s learning, well-being, and development. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.
Play helps children:
• stay curious
• focus and become absorbed in what they're doing
• take on age-appropriate challenges
• build confidence
We believe children learn best by doing things for themselves:
• by making mistakes
• by getting messy
• by falling down and getting back up again
Resilience, confidence, and courage grow through experience, one small step at a time.
That's why we carefully choose toys that encourage independence, imagination, movement, and social skills — offering just the right balance of support, freedom, and opportunities to grow.
Carefully selected toys
We carefully handpick every toy from the vast world of toys available today. The only toys that make it into our range are ones we'd be happy to give our own children.
Every toy at ToyAcademy should:
• support learning through play
• be made from durable, high-quality materials
• be safe and enjoyable for children to play with
