What makes this product special

Do you bike to daycare, kindergarten, or school? Has your child outgrown their first bike helmet?

With a bike helmet on, you’re all set to ride your bike, for school drop-offs and pick-ups, down to the bakery for a treat, or over to the cool construction site to look at the big machines.

The bike helmet fits a head circumference of 51-55 cm. Children (and adults) can have very different head sizes. This helmet fits from around age 2-3 and up. The product description says up to 8 years, but older children (and adults) may also fit the helmet depending on their individual head circumference.

Measure around your child's head about 2 cm above the eyebrows.

  • The helmet size can be adjusted at the back of the head
  • LED light on the back of the helmet
  • Magnetic chin strap that doesn't pinch
  • Soft fleece lining inside the helmet
  • Ventilation ports with practical insect mesh in front.

Which colour do you prefer?
Ash – Beige
Blueberry – Light Blue
Forest – Dark Green
Olive – Olive Green
Kiwi – Light Green
Lemon – Yellow
Peach – Peach / Coral
Rose – Pink
Steel – Dark Blue

The light on the back of the helmet requires 2032 coin cell batteries, the same type commonly used in bike lights.

Remember that, depending on where you live, wearing a bike helmet may be required by law for children and/or adults. Always check and follow your local traffic safety rules.

Children under 2-3 years will typically need a slightly smaller helmet.

This activity supports essential skills which are wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn:

  • Here, you can stimulate your child's feeling of safety.

Suitable for ages 1 yr. to 8 yrs.

A balance bike is a great way to stimulate your child's balance and cross-body coordination from an early age. Balance bikes don't have pedals, so your child pushes the bike along with their feet while straddling it.

Being able to zoom around and control their own speed (much more easily than on an ordinary bike) gives your child a feeling of being free. At the same time, you can also practise traffic signals, left/right, and being considerate of other road users. A balance bike is a great way to challenge your child without them experiencing too many accidents - because your child always has a foot on the ground and can slow down or regain balance.

A great way to prepare for learning to ride a pedal bike. Once your child has mastered the balance bike, using training wheels while they learn to ride their pedal bike often becomes a redundant middle step - because balance is not a problem for your child.

It’s fairly easy to learn to ride a scooter, depending on your child's age and physical ability, of course. What's more, scooters are easy to take with you anywhere you go - and some of our scooters are even foldable.

Older kids (and kids with balance bike experience) can zip around on scooters with two wheels, or a trick scooter, while the youngest ones can find their balance on three wheels.
