The activity supports skill development and is wonderful for your child's well-being:
- This type of play helps your child sharpen their depth perception skills. For instance, this will help your child navigate traffic in a safe manner. "How fast are others coming towards me?" suddenly becomes a bit easier to assess.
- Strengthens hand-eye coordination, a skill we use e.g. when we throw, kick, or catch a ball that comes flying at us in the playground, when we cut accurately line with a pair of scissors, or when we need to pour water into a glass without missing.
