What makes this product special
Toys for learning through play
Play is essential for children’s learning, well-being, and development. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.
Play helps children:
• stay curious
• focus and become absorbed in what they're doing
• take on age-appropriate challenges
• build confidence
We believe children learn best by doing things for themselves:
• by making mistakes
• by getting messy
• by falling down and getting back up again
Resilience, confidence, and courage grow through experience, one small step at a time.
That's why we carefully choose toys that encourage independence, imagination, movement, and social skills — offering just the right balance of support, freedom, and opportunities to grow.
Carefully selected toys
We carefully handpick every toy from the vast world of toys available today. The only toys that make it into our range are ones we'd be happy to give our own children.
Every toy at ToyAcademy should:
• support learning through play
• be made from durable, high-quality materials
• be safe and enjoyable for children to play with

What makes this product special
Painting, writing, and drawing strengthen your child's pencil grasp and fine motor skills, which are essential for learning to write legible letters and numbers.
Drawing for fun simply helps your child gain better control of the pencil, which is very helpful for schoolwork. And it's so lovely to receive a little handwritten note from your child that says "lov yu" - and equally surprising and amusing to see the first homemade sign stuck to the door of your child’s room that says "no parints aloud". Later on, it’s time for more challenging writing projects such as handwritten birthday and Christmas cards – both made possible by a proper grasp and a well-developed handwriting.
The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- Invites your child to relax and immerse themselves.
- Stimulates hand-eye coordination, a skill we use e.g. when throwing, kicking, or catching a ball that comes flying at us in PE class, or when cutting in a straight line with scissors.
- Develops your child's creativity.
