Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 11 yrs.Sensory chew toys are an umbrella term for chew necklaces, chew jewellery, chew toys, and vibrating chew toys for children who feel such a strong need to chew on things that special tools are needed to provide oral sensory input. Some children nibble, chew, and suck on things to calm their nervous system by stimulating the many nerve endings of the teeth and mouth. There is no risk associated with a strong need to chew on things, but if you would like to give pillows, pencils, and shirt sleeves a break, then you might want to look into a sensory chew toy. Our chew tools are all safe and hygienic.
If you want to let your child use the vibrating oral motor tool Z-vibe, or if your child's behaviour suddenly changes, e.g. if they lose their appetite, we recommend that you seek guidance from an occupational therapist.
