What makes this product special

Suitable for children aged 5 yrs. to 11 yrs.

Sensory chew toys are a general term for chew necklaces, chew jewellery, chew toys, and vibrating chew toys for children who feel such a strong need to chew on something that special tools are needed to provide oral sensory input. Some children suck, chew, and nibble on things to calm their nervous system by stimulating the many nerve endings (so-called receptors) of the mouth and teeth. Chewing is not dangerous, but if you would like to give pencils, shirt sleeves, and pillows a break, then you might want to look into a sensory chew toy. Our chew tools are all safe and hygienic.

If all of a sudden your child's behaviour changes, e.g. if they lose their appetite, or if you want to let your child use the vibrating oral motor tool Z-vibe, we suggest that you seek guidance from an occupational therapist.

The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

  • Motivates your child to concentrate.
  • Stimulates your child's oral motor skills, which support expressive skills and language.
  • Stimulates your child's proprioception, which helps them build the confidence to use their body through active play and benefits their concentration.
