Children's Game - Find Monty

This activity develops important skills which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:

Board games, card games, and dice games are activities with clear and defined boundaries, which many children love. It can be nice to immerse yourself in a game where not everything is up for negotiation - games have rules, and for many children that can be a relief.

Moreover, playing games gives your child an opportunity to experience (and cope with) losing. We suggest not letting your child win the game every single time. Teach your children to cope with the disappointment of losing in a safe environment with you. This builds resilience in your child, which will benefit them later in life when they have to handle things on their own and you are no longer there to protect them from defeat and disappointment.
