Suitable for ages 8 yrs. to SeniorsWriting, painting, and drawing strengthen your child's fine motor skills and pencil grasp, which are both essential for learning to write legible letters and numbers.
This type of play simply helps strengthen your child’s control of the pencil, which is very helpful when they're in school. And it enables your child to write notes to you – or to the elves or Santa Claus at Christmas time. Later on, it’s time for more complicated writing projects such as handwritten birthday and Christmas cards – made possible by a steady hand and a good grasp.
