Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 9 yrs.
Painting, writing, and drawing strengthen your child's fine motor skills and pencil grasp, which are both essential for learning to write letters and numbers legibly.
Drawing for fun simply helps your child gain better control of the pencil, which is very helpful for schoolwork. And it's just lovely to get a little handwritten note from your child that says "lof yu" - and equally surprising and amusing to see the first piece of paper stuck to the door of your child’s room that says "no grone ups aloud". Down the line, a proper grasp and a well-developed handwriting are useful for handwritten cards for Christmas and birthdays.
