Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 11 yrs.Construction play is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We won't get into a long and tedious piece about how this type of play develops your child's fine motor skills, creativity, and hand-eye coordination as well as their interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.
While playing, your child also gets real-life experience with problem-solving as they figure out how to put together the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of blocks, pieces, and sticks stimulates their imagination. Also, it's just so satisfying to build the longest marble run ever or construct a skyscraper higher than yourself, or to create a super cool row of dominoes and film it when it topples.

Do you know CONNETIX?
In 2019, a mom and a dad were standing on a playground in Australia and came up with the idea for Connetix. Their children loved playing with magnets, and the parents came up with the idea to create even more see-through magnetic construction tiles. At the same time, they designed a ball run that could be put together with the magnetic parts - and thus the original Connetix was born. Connetix are magnetic construction tiles that are more transparent and have a cleaner design than, for example, Magna-Tiles. Connetix are even prettier to look through when your child builds in 2D against a window or on a light panel. They have two magnets per side and match with Magna-Tiles and Cleverclixx - but not with Magformers.If you want to construct ball runs, you can have more fun if you have a set of square magnetic tiles (either Magna-Tiles or Connetix) as well as a ball run set. The ball run packs contain no, or only a few, regular building tiles, so they require a few extra parts to be stable and pretty.
