Drawing and doodling simply helps your child learn how to control the pencil, which is very helpful at school. And it's so lovely to receive a little handwritten note from your child that says "lofe yoo" - and just as surprising and amusing to notice the first note stuck to the door of your child’s room that says "groanups keep out". Down the line, a proper grasp and a well-developed handwriting are useful when making handwritten Christmas and birthday cards.
