What makes this product special
Suitable for ages 5 yrs. to Seniors
It stimulates your child's depth perception to play ball games using their feet, hands, head, or a bat/racket. Ball games may also have rules, and it's good for your child to practise following them. So, when your child persistently claims that there's certainly NO penalty kick, or that the ball was NOT out of bounds, that's a learning moment right there. Playing with balls also boosts your child's proprioception - and that's a sense which cannot get overstimulated.
Supports essential skills that are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- This type of play helps your child sharpen their depth perception skills. Among other things, this will help your child cycle or walk in traffic more safely. "How fast is the car coming towards me?" suddenly becomes easier to judge.
- Strengthens your child's gross motor skills, which are engaged every time your child engages in physical activity.
- Strengthens hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when cutting accurately with scissors, pouring a glass of water without spilling, or when catching, throwing, or kicking a ball that comes flying at us in the playground.
