Animal figures are pretty much a classic of the toy collection. Your child will probably use them for all kinds of fun and imaginative role play. Maybe the animals live in the wild or in a national park – or maybe they go to the playground. The play with imagining what the animals experience stimulates the ability to come up with crazy stories and put words to them.
Or maybe the animals enjoy being stacked, sorted, counted, or arranged according to their initials or the number of letters or syllables in their names. The animals also come in handy if your child is learning math and needs to work out how many animals you each get if you are three people and divide them between you.
