Diving Toy - Animals, 6 pcs

Item No: 1039-M404320
Depth perception
Gross motor skills
Body awareness

A colourful set of diving animals including a sea lion, starfish, stingray, crab, turtle, and clownfish.

The animals are weighted, so they sink to the bottom of the pool, making them ideal for practising water confidence and diving skills as children retrieve them from underwater. These six little water-loving friends are as charming as they are fun.

Many children feel a little unsure about putting their heads under water, so it helps to find fun ways to build confidence and encourage them to dive. If your child already loves the water, these diving animals make perfect underwater playmates as they dive down to the bottom to collect their aquatic friends.

If you're practising water confidence, start gently in the bathtub or a shallow paddling pool. Let your child retrieve the animals in gradually deeper water while standing or sitting comfortably on the bottom. Before long, they'll be confidently dipping their face – and eventually their whole head – under the water to rescue their little sea creatures.

The animals' large eyes are easy to spot, even through the water – with or without goggles.
