The company name is made up from the initials of their 4 children, Marie, Mads, Mette, & Morten. The four kids' play with MaMaMeMo wooden play food, ice cream stands, play kitchens, mixers, bakery counters, etc. was an inspiration for their parents Anne-Marie and Poul. After watching their own kids play, the couple began mass producing these fantastic playthings and beganselling them worldwide.
