MaMaMeMo was started by the Danish couple Anne-Marie and Poul. The company name is made from the first letters of the names of the couple's 4 children, Marie, Mads, Mette, & Morten. The four kids' play with MaMaMeMo ice cream stands, wooden play food, mixers, bakery counters, and much more motivated their parents Anne-Marie and Poul. After watching their own kids play, the couple decided to start a production of these delightful playthings and beganmarketing them to happy children worldwide.
