Let your child play without first having to think about how the toy works. There is no right or wrong way to play here, and your child doesn't have to follow any rules. Playing in the present moment is the goal here. At ToyAcademy, we call this type of play intuitive play. It's also called "open ended play". We suggest that you seize the chance to notice what happens when your child plays in ways that let them use their intuition.
As opposed to types of play which focus on achieving a particular result, intuitive play will most often give you a fascinating peek into your child’s own imagination, thought process, and problem-solving skills.
