Express Your Feelings Sensory Bottles, I

Item No: 21-94488
Vision

Social skills

Big feelings can be hard to understand, let alone explain to a grown-up. When emotions are bubbling up inside, children often need a little extra help finding the words.

These 4 sensory bottles are a wonderful support for younger children from around age 3, as well as children with developmental or cognitive challenges.

Each bottle features a face showing one of four emotions: happy, sad, scared, or angry. When shaken, the colourful contents twirl, swirl, drift, and move in their own unique way, helping children visualise emotions that can otherwise be difficult to explain. Invite your child to choose the bottle that best matches how they're feeling and explore it together. Watching the movement inside the bottle can make it easier to talk about what's happening on the inside. And just as the contents gradually settle, children may discover that big feelings can settle too.

The sensory bottles are securely sealed and safe for use at home, in the classroom, at home, and on the go.

Happy: Sparkling gold glitter

Sad: A slow-moving, lava lamp-like blue liquid

Angry: Swirling red powder

Scared: Green liquid with a gently marbled effect

Building social-emotional skills often starts with having the words (and the confidence) to talk about feelings. Children learn best in safe, supportive environments with people they know and trust, where conversations can be revisited again and again, sometimes with a little laughter along the way. These sensory bottles are a wonderful tool to have on hand when exploring emotions and feelings together.

Do you know Learning Resources?

Providing children with materials that make learning fun is essential for Learning Resources - as their name suggests.

In particular, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is a focal point at Learning Resources. For instance, your child can learn about coding, doing experiments, exploring their world, and building robots. For educators and teachers, Learning Resources is a learning goldmine. Math games, coding dinosaurs, and sorting animals can really add some fun to the teaching.
