This activity develops essential skills which support your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Strengthens hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when cutting accurately with scissors, pouring a glass of water without spilling, or when catching or kicking the ball that comes flying at us in PE class.
- This is a great way for your child to stimulate their vestibular sense. The vestibular sense helps us to spin in circles, stand on one leg, or ride in a car without getting dizzy, losing our balance, or getting car sick.
