When your child plays with a ball using their feet, hands, head, or a racket/bat, their depth perception is stimulated. Some ball games have rules, and it's beneficial for your child to learn how to negotiate them. So, when your child persistently insists that there's definitely NO penalty kick, or that the ball was NOT out of bounds, that's a learning moment. Playing ball also revs up your child's proprioception - and that's a sense that cannot get overstimulated.
