What makes this product special
Suitable for ages 5 yrs. to Seniors
When your child plays with a ball using their feet, hands, head, or a bat/racket, their depth perception is developed. Ball games may also have rules, and it's good for your child to learn how to follow and negotiate them. So, when your child firmly insists that there's absolutely NO penalty, or that the ball was NOT out of bounds, don't worry - that's a learning moment. Also, your child's proprioception is very much activated with ball games, and that's a sense which just can't be overstimulated.
The activity is wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Strengthens gross motor skills, which come into play every time your child engages in physical activity.
- Benefits hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when cutting a straight line with scissors, pouring a glass of water without spilling, or when kicking or catching a ball that comes flying at us in the playground.
