Giant Number Tower

A fun twist on the classic stacking game. 

This version uses numbers: roll the die and remove one matching numbered block from the tower — or two blocks that add up to the right total. The real challenge is figuring out which move is smartest if you want to keep the whole tower from tumbling down.

• Suitable for 2 or more players
• Made of wood
• Includes 48 blocks measuring 15 × 4 × 2.5 cm
• Includes a 3 cm number die

The activity supports skill development and is great for your child's well-being:

• Gives your child's fine motor skills a playful workout.
• Supports hand-eye coordination, which you make use of e.g. when kicking or catching a ball that comes flying at you in the playground, or when cutting an accurate line with scissors.
• Develops and improves your child's ability to concentrate.

Suitable for ages 4 yrs. to 10 yrs.

With a fixed set of rules, board games, dice games, and card games are clearly defined activities and present a welcome break from negotiation with others. For many children, it can be a nice relief to focus on a game with clear rules as a contrast to wild and free play with friends at school or kindergarten.

In addition, playing a game gives your child an opportunity to practise other important skills, such as losing. We suggest not letting your child win the game every single time. Teach your children to cope with defeat in safe surroundings together with you. This builds resilience in your child, which will benefit them later in life when they go out on their own and you can no longer protect them from defeat and disappointment.
