Suitable for children aged 2 yrs. to 7 yrs.Talk about where food comes from, when we typically eat it, and where it goes after we swallow it. This develops your child’s knowledge and vocabulary. Toy food is ideal for role play, which inspires your child to copy real-life scenarios such as shopping, cooking, or being in a café.
Role play where children act out real-life activities helps to develop their understanding of the world they live in. With play food, your child also gets the chance to play with food in a way that is probably not okay at the table with real food. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise greeting customers, writing signs, and calculating special offers. Your child can practise taking payments and giving back change, which is great for practising their math skills.
