Suitable for ages 2 yrs. to 7 yrs.Toy food is fantastic for role play, which inspires your child to imitate real-life experiences such as cooking, shopping, or going to a café. Talk about where food comes from, when we typically eat it, and where it goes after we swallow it. This helps expand your child’s vocabulary and knowledge.
Role play where children copy everyday activities builds up their understanding of the world around them. With play food, your child also gets to play with food in a way that is most likely not okay with real food. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise making special offers, writing signs, and politely greeting customers. Your child can practise taking payments and giving back change, which is great for their math skills.
