Suitable for children aged 2 yrs. to 7 yrs.Play food is great for pretend play, which inspires your child to act out real-life scenarios such as shopping, cooking, or going to a café. Talk about where food comes from, when we typically eat it, and where it goes after we swallow it. This is great for your child’s knowledge and vocabulary.
Role play where children copy real-life activities develops their understanding of the world they live in. With play food, your child can also play with food in a way that is probably not tolerated at dinner with real food. You can also use the play food to play grocery store and practise making special offers, writing signs, and politely greeting customers. Your child can take payment at the cash register and give back change, which is a great way of practisting their math skills.
