What makes this product special
Construction play is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We won't get into a long and tedious piece about how this type of play strengthens your child's fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.
With this type of play, your child also gets practical experience with problem-solving when they need to figure out how to assemble the construction so it doesn't suddenly collapse. Your child's construction play with all sorts of pieces, blocks, and other building materials develops their imagination and patience. Also, it's such a confidence boost to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to maybe make an impressive domino row and film it when it topples.
The activity is great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Unleash your imagination and see where playtime takes you.
- Develops hand-eye coordination, a skill we rely on e.g. when we kick or catch the ball that comes flying at us in the playground, when we cut in a straight line line with scissors, or when we need to pour a glass of water without spilling.
- Develops your child's sense of cause and effect, which is about the understanding that something (the cause) leads to something else (the effect).
