People all over the world tell stories. And across different cultures, we actually tell stories with the same themes. It is a very important skill to be able to understand and tell a story with a beginning and an end. This skill can be practised by talking about a story while you're telling it, and telling it over and over.
When children are learning to understand stories, physical props are a great help. A hand puppet allows your child experiment with telling stories. In addition, they're a super good way to bring storytelling to life. The storyteller is not hidden behind a book but gets to be active and in contact with the little listeners, who can actively participate in the story instead of just listening passively.
