Physical props can be a great help in teaching children to understand stories and storytelling. Hand puppets let children experiment with storytelling. Also, they're a very nice way to make a story or fairy tale come alive. The reader telling the story does not get hidden away behind a book but gets to be active and in close contact with the little listeners, who get to be actively participating children instead of passive children.

Hand puppets are great to use at home with your child and in daycare – or for people with special needs, such as dementia.
