Play with hand puppets allows your child to practise telling and understanding a story with a beginning and an end. This is an important skill which can be developed by telling a story again and again.
Hand puppets can bring storytelling to life. The storyteller does not get hidden away behind a book but gets to be active and in contact with the little listeners, who get to be actively participating children instead of passive children.
