What makes this product special
Suitable for ages 5 yrs. to 14+ yrs.
It benefits your child's depth perception to play ball games using their hands, feet, head, or a racket/bat. Ball games may also have rules, and it's good for your child to practise negotiating them. So, when your child persistently insists that there's certainly NO penalty kick, or that the ball was NOT out of bounds, don't worry - that's a learning moment. Ball games also gives your child's proprioception thorough workout - and that's a sense which cannot be overstimulated.
Hockey requires coordination. You need to keep track of both a stick and a ball as well as your body, and then get all of them to work together.
The yellow ball is made of foam and the red one is plastic.
The set includes two sticks and two balls. That means you can play against each other or practise individually with a stick and ball each.
The balls are made of foam and plastic, respectively, and measure 7 cm in diameter.
The sticks measure 110 cm.
Here, essential skills are stimulated, which are wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- This type of play helps your child sharpen their depth perception skills. For instance, this will help your child navigate traffic safely. "How fast is the car coming towards me?" suddenly becomes easier to answer.
- This is a way for your child to improve their proprioception, which benefits your child's concentration and gives them the confidence to use their body in other types of physical play.
