Drawing and having fun simply helps your child learn how to control the pencil, which is a big advantage at school. And it's so lovely to receive a little handwritten letter from your child that says "lof yoo" - and just as surprising and amusing to see the first note stuck to the door of your child’s room that says "no parints aloud". Later on, it’s time for slightly more complex writing projects such as handwritten Christmas and birthday cards – both made possible by a secure grasp and a trained writing hand.
