What makes this product special
Suitable for children aged 3 yrs. to 14+ yrs.
When your child plays with a ball using their feet, hands, head, or a bat/racket, their depth perception is stimulated. Ball games may also have rules, and it's beneficial for your child to learn how to follow and negotiate them. So, when your child stubbornly insists that there's certainly NO penalty kick, or that the ball was NOT out of bounds, you can definitely celebrate - that's a learning moment. Playing ball also revs up your child's proprioception - and that's a sense which cannot get overstimulated.
The activity is great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Great for getting your child's body moving, which in turn boosts their gross motor skills.
- Stimulates hand-eye coordination, a skill we use for example when cutting with scissors, pouring a glass of water without spilling and making a mess, or when throwing, catching, or kicking a ball that comes flying at us in the playground.
- Motivates your child to concentrate.
