Here, important skills are engaged, which are wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:

• Develops hand-eye coordination, which is used for example when we use scissors to cut a straight line, when we want to pour water into a glass without spilling, or when we throw, catch, or kick a ball that comes flying at us in PE class.
• This is a way for your child to develop their proprioception, which increases your child's confidence to use their body in other types of physical play and benefits their concentration.
• Great for group role play, where little ones practise finding their own place in the game and not always being in charge.

Playing with cars and vehicles can be an interesting scientific game or a lovely role play activity. Alone or with friends, at full throttle or calm and quiet - like when the favourite tractor chugs around in the evening sun out in the field and looks longingly towards the barn and a gulp of refreshing motor oil after a long workday.
