We like to refer to the brain as a “memory muscle” — it’s our way of saying that the brain keeps growing and developing throughout life. Unlike other muscles, it won’t grow bigger from weightlifting and protein shakes — but when you turn up the challenge, it becomes better at solving problems. Becoming sharper at remembering, combining ideas, and figuring out logical solutions is the cornerstone of brain training — just like running drills are a cornerstone of a soccer player’s physical training.
