What makes this product special

SlideMinder is a fresh twist on the classic sliding puzzle game many parents might remember from childhood. The goal is to slide the colourful shapes around the board until they line up in the correct order or create the right pattern.

The game includes geometric shapes in 4 different colours, which your child can slide into place to recreate the patterns shown in the included game guide.
The game guide stores on the back of the game board when not in use.
A fun little brain teaser that children can spend ages puzzling over while strengthening pattern recognition and problem-solving skills along the way.

The shapes make a noticeable noise as they move around the board. They don't glide silently or very smoothly, and they need a fairly firm push.

After a few games, they begin to glide more smoothly.

Here, important skills are stimulated, which are wonderful for your child's well-being and ability to learn:

  • Here, you can help strengthen your child's logical thinking.
  • This improves your child's ability to problem solve.

Measures 16 x 16 cm.
Suitable for children aged 6 yrs. to 10 yrs.

Logic games are a fun and engaging way to pass waiting or travel time — and best of all, no screens required. They're excellent brain workouts, cleverly disguised as fun. You can play alone or crack the puzzles together. With clear, structured rules, logic games are also a great choice for children and adults with special needs.

At Toy Academy, we like to call the brain a “memory muscle” —  because the brain keeps developing and growing throughout life. Unlike our other muscles, it won’t grow bigger from protein shakes or weightlifting — but when you turn up the challenge, it becomes better at solving problems. Becoming sharper at remembering, connecting the dots, and cracking logical puzzles is the foundation of brain training — just like running drills are a cornerstone of a soccer player’s physical training.

Do you know Learning Resources?

As you can tell from their name, it's important for Learning Resources to provide children with materials that make learning fun.

In particular, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is at the centre at Learning Resources. For instance, your child can learn to build robots, code, do experiments, and explore their world. For teachers and educators, Learning Resources is a learning goldmine. Sorting animals, math games, and coding dinosaurs can really add some fun to the teaching.
