One of the many reasons why we love magic tricks is that they involve a delightful combination of fine motor skills training, creativity, imagination, and performance. For children who are shy, magic tricks can encourage them to perform in front of others in their finest magician outfit. It takes courage to perform magic tricks in front of everyone at morning assembly or at grandma’s birthday. But performing in front of others can really boost your child’s self-esteem, because when it takes place in a safe environment, your child experiences the joy and success of their practice paying off and of making people happy.
They say it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert at something. But less can do the trick. However, all magic tricks require concentration and practice at home in front of the mirror.
