Construction play is educational, fun, and also time consuming. We'll leave out a long-winded essay about how this type of play strengthens your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as well as interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.

Magna-Tiles are quality magnetic construction toys that challenge and motivate your child to explore how different geometric shapes can be used to build anything from very simple to very complex structures (look at a football or a bridge - both consist of triangles and squares in a neat pattern). Magna-Tiles are magnetic on all sides, so they easily stick to each other via magnetic attraction. They come in many different themes, shapes, and sizes, with mirrors, transparent, and with figures. There is something for every child.

The magnetic poles of Magna-Tiles are arranged so that the building tiles attract each other on all sides and edges. The tiles are made of ABS plastic, which makes them very robust. They cannot be combined with Magformers, but they work with Connetix.

The magnetic tiles should be cleaned with a damp cloth. They should not be submerged in water or put in the dishwasher or washing machine. If they do get wet, you can save them by setting them upright to dry so the water can drain out.
