Building and construction play is very educational, very fun, and a bit time consuming. We won't get into a long dissertation on how this type of play benefits your child's hand-eye coordination, creativity, and fine motor skills as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.

Do you know Magna-Tiles?
The lovely magnetic building toys Magna-Tiles encourage and challenge kids to use geometric shapes to build both very small and quite large structures - just like footballs and bridges both consist of geometric shapes. Magna-Tiles are magnetic on all sides, so they easily stick to each other via magnetism. The tiles come in many different themes, shapes, and sizes, with mirrors, transparent, and with figures. There is something for every child.The magnetic poles of Magna-Tiles are arranged so that the tiles attract each other on all sides. The tiles are made of ABS plastic, which is very durable. They cannot be combined with Magformers, but they work with Connetix.
Magna-Tiles should be cleaned with a damp, well wrung out cloth. They should not be plunged in the sink with the dirty dishes or put in the dishwasher or washing machine. If they do get wet, you can set them upright to dry so the water can drain.
