What makes this product special

Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 11 yrs.

Building and construction play is fun, a bit time consuming, and very educational. We won't burden you with a long-winded piece about how this type of play develops your child's creativity, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills as well as their understanding of geometry and interest in entrepreneurship.

While playing, your child also gets hands-on experience with problem-solving when it comes to figuring out how to assemble the construction so it doesn't fall over. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building blocks, pieces, or magnets develops their patience. Also, it's just so satisfying to construct a tall, tall tower or build the world's longest marble run, or to maybe create a super cool domino row and film it as it topples.

Do you know Magna-Tiles?

Magna-Tiles are quality magnetic building toys that motivate and challenge children to explore how different geometric shapes can be used to build anything from very simple to very complex structures (look at a bridge or a football - both consist of triangles and squares in a neat pattern). Magna-Tiles are magnetic on all sides and edges, so they easily stick to each other due to their magnetic properties. They come in many colours, shapes, and themes, so whether your child likes animals or mirror mazes, Magna-Tiles are a great idea.

Magna-Tiles attract each other on all sides, because they are polarised in a way that allows this. Magna-Tiles are made of ABS plastic, which is very robust. The magnets are arranged differently than on Magformers, so Magna-Tiles and Magformers are not compatible. But Magna-Tiles work well with Connetix.

Magna-Tiles can be cleaned with a damp, well wrung out cloth - no sticking them in the sink with the dishes or giving them a spin in the dishwasher. If they do get wet, put them upright to dry so the water can drain out.
