Suitable for ages 3 yrs. to 11 yrs.Building and constructing is educational, fun, and also time consuming. We could certainly write a long book about how building and construction play develops your child's creativity, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills as well as their interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.
With this type of play, your child also gets practical experience with solving problems as they figure out how to set up the construction so it doesn't fall over. Your child's construction play with all sorts of blocks, pieces, and sticks develops their patience. Also, it's such a confidence boost to construct a tall, tall tower or build the longest marble run ever, or to maybe create a really cool domino field and film it as it topples.

Do you know Magna-Tiles?
The lovely magnetic building toys Magna-Tiles challenge and encourage your child to use geometric shapes to build both very small and quite large structures - just like footballs and bridges both consist of geometric shapes. Magna-Tiles are magnetic on all sides and edges, so they easily stick to each other via magnetism. The tiles come in many different themes, shapes, and sizes, with mirrors, transparent, and with figures. There is something for every child.Magna-Tiles are created from ABS plastic, which is very durable. The magnetic poles in Magna-Tiles are arranged so that the tiles attract each other on all sides and edges, just like Magformers and Connetix. Magna-Tiles can be combined with Connetix, but are not compatible with Magformers.
Magna-Tiles should be cleaned with a damp cloth. They should not be submerged in water or put in the dishwasher or washing machine. If water gets inside the magnets, leave the tiles standing upright to dry.
