Constructing and building is educational, fun, and also time consuming. We can certainly write a whole sales pitch about how construction play benefits your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as well as interest in entrepreneurship and understanding of geometry.
With construction play, your child also gets real hands-on experience with solving problems when they need to figure out how to build the construction so it doesn't suddenly fall over. Your child's construction play with all sorts of building materials makes it fun for them to concentrate. Also, it's just such a confidence boost to build the longest marble run ever or construct a skyscraper higher than yourself, or to maybe create a super cool domino field and film it when it topples.

Do you know Magna-Tiles?
The quality magnetic building toys Magna-Tiles motivate and challenge your child to use geometric shapes to build both very small and quite large structures - just like footballs and bridges both consist of geometric shapes. Magna-Tiles are magnetic on all sides and edges, so they easily stick to each other via magnetic attraction. They come in many colours, shapes, and themes, so whether your child likes animals or mirror mazes, Magna-Tiles are a great idea.Magna-Tiles are made of ABS plastic, which is very robust. The magnetic poles of the tiles are arranged so that the tiles do not repel each other and can be put together on all sides, just like Magformers and Connetix. Magna-Tiles can be combined with Connetix, but do not fit with Magformers.
The magnetic tiles should be cleaned with a damp, well wrung out cloth. They should not be plunged in the sink with the dirty dishes or put in the dishwasher or washing machine. If they do get wet, you can set them upright to dry so the water can drain.
