What makes this product special
Dressing up or playing with doll sets, play sets, and face paint are all different ways of engaging in role play. Role play is an important part of your child's development. Do you know Maileg?
Maileg was created in 1999 by Dorthe og Erik Mailil, who set out to design durable toys with lots of soul and personality as a counterbalance plastic toys and throw-away culture. The name Maileg is a combination of the Danish word for ""play"" and the founders' surname. Based in Herning, Denmark, Maileg makes Christmas elves, dollhouses, and toys that radiate ""hygge"" and Scandinavian design.Maileg's elves, mice, and figures are made with immersive, calm play in mind. It's all about building worlds and telling stories with toys whose quality and appearance will last for many years. Your child gets to form a close, heartfelt bond with their toys and the cute little mice and elves.
Maileg emphasises high quality in the materials and details of their toys. Their designs speak to both children and grown-ups. Not all Maileg products are meant to be played with - some of the elves, mice, and other figurines are purely decorative. But the Maileg universe is so great at sparking the imaginations of children and other playful souls that we're happy to offer even the more delicate, display-only pieces to our customers regardless.
