What makes this product special
Toys for learning through play
Play is essential for children’s learning, well-being, and development. Through play, children learn about themselves and the world around them.
Play helps children:
• stay curious
• focus and become absorbed in what they're doing
• take on age-appropriate challenges
• build confidence
We believe children learn best by doing things for themselves:
• by making mistakes
• by getting messy
• by falling down and getting back up again
Resilience, confidence, and courage grow through experience, one small step at a time.
That's why we carefully choose toys that encourage independence, imagination, movement, and social skills — offering just the right balance of support, freedom, and opportunities to grow.
Carefully selected toys
We carefully handpick every toy from the vast world of toys available today. The only toys that make it into our range are ones we'd be happy to give our own children.
Every toy at ToyAcademy should:
• support learning through play
• be made from durable, high-quality materials
• be safe and enjoyable for children to play with

What makes this product special
Board games, card games, and dice games are activities with clear and defined boundaries, which many children love. And such games can be a nice contrast to wild, free play with friends at school or kindergarten - games have rules, and for many children that can be a relief.
In addition, playing a game gives your child an opportunity to practise other important skills, such as losing. We recommend that you don't always let your child win when you play a game. Teach your children to cope with losing a game in a safe environment with you. This builds resilience in your child, which will benefit them later in life when they go out on their own and you are no longer there to shield them from disappointment and defeat.
The activity is great for your child's well-being and ability to learn:
- Strengthens your child's fine motor skills.
- Strengthens your child's perception of shapes/colours.
