Before using the mermaid tail for the first time, apply the included protective tape to the corners of the monofin. The self-adhesive tape bonds quickly, and instructions are included.Â
Care instructions:Â
The mermaid tail is machine washable at 30°C. Leave it to air dry.
Avoid placing weight on the monofin when it's standing upright. For example, don't stand on it when it's resting vertically on the floor, as it may crack or break.
With proper care, the mermaid tail will last for years and can even be passed down to younger siblings.
Can my child use a mermaid tail if they can't swim?
No. Children should be confident swimmers before using a mermaid tail and should never swim without appropriate adult supervision.

When using a mermaid tail, we recommend that your child can swim at least 25 metres without swimming aids and tread water for at least 30 seconds. Never leave your child unattended in or around water unless they are a confident swimmer. If your child isn't able to swim yet but would still like to wear a mermaid tail, you should always be in the water with them. Consider using water wings for extra buoyancy.Â
When at the beach, never let your child swim or paddle without close adult supervision, regardless of their swimming ability.
