This microscope is a great choice for curious children aged 8+ who are ready to take their scientific discoveries to the next level and explore the tiny wonders of the world in more detail.   

It comes with three objective lenses offering magnification up to 450x, and you can easily switch between them using the rotating nosepiece. 

The microscope comes with prepared slides ready to explore, plus everything you need to collect and prepare your own specimens for closer inspection.

 

  • Switch between four different light colours: yellow, red, blue, and white. Different lighting can reveal different details.

  • The set also includes a Petri dish, a magnifying glass, tweezers, two test tubes with lids, and blank plastic slides for preparing your own specimens from fascinating finds in the garden, around the house, in the fridge, or even from your own skin.

  • Includes prepared microscope slides, so you can start exploring straight away.

  • Easily switch between different magnification levels.

  • Fine-tune the focus with the focusing knob.

  • Illuminates objects from above only and cannot shine light through transparent specimens.

  • Instructions in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian.

  • Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included).

It’s fun to observe a dead spider or a fly way up close, and you can definitely do that with a simple microscope model. But if you would like to study a drop of blood, we recommend that you choose a microscope for children with over 400x magnification. The price is on the higher end, but your child will learn and understand so much more.
