Suitable for ages 5 yrs. to Seniors
When you want to get your inquisitive kiddo a microscope, remember that price and quality tend to go together. So it's a good idea to think about what your child is hoping to look at with the microscope.
For example, if you want to study a drop of blood, our advice is that you get a microscope for children with over 400x magnification. It’s a higher price bracket than simpler microscopes, but your child will have amazing "aha” moments when they get to focus the microscope and learn on their own. But it’s also interesting to study a fly or a dead spider way up close, and you can easily do that with a simpler microscope.
