This big, cuddly starfish is a gentle giant, weighing 2.3 kg and measuring 130 cm! It loves to munch on just about anything… including things that definitely don’t belong in its tummy, like bits and pieces floating around in the ocean.
Help the cuddly, hungry starfish stick to yummy snacks only. Out with the garbage! Reach in and feel around to discover whether it’s accidentally gulped down a pacifier or a plastic clothespin.
But where does all the garbage go next? Into the bins, of course, as shown on the included cards. Each bin has matching outlines for the items found in the starfish’s tummy – perfect for a hands-on sorting game.
The starfish comes with a handy hanging loop, and its arms can be bent and shaped thanks to the wire inside.
This activity develops essential skills which are great for your child's well-being and ability to learn new things:
- Wonderful for the tactile sense. A well-integrated tactile sense can strengthen your child's well-being.
Diameter: Dia. 1.300 cm
Suitable for children aged 2 yrs. to 6 yrs.
Board games, card games, and dice games are activities with clear and defined boundaries, which many children love. In contrast to wild, free play with friends at school or kindergarten, it can be nice to immerse yourself in an activity where not everything is up for negotiation - a game has rules, and that can be a relief.
In addition, playing games gives your child an opportunity to experience (and cope with) losing. We recommend that you don't always let your child win when you play a game. Teach your child to handle losing a game in safe surroundings together with you. This helps make children robust and resilient, which will benefit them later in life when they are on their own and you cannot protect them from defeat and disappointment.
