Suitable for ages 1 yr. to 4 yrs.Painting, writing, and drawing strengthen your child's pencil grasp and fine motor skills, which are both essential skills for learning to write letters and numbers legibly.
Drawing for fun simply helps your child learn how to control the pencil, which is very helpful for schoolwork. And it's just so lovely to get a little handwritten letter from your child that says "lof yoo" - and just as surprising and amusing to see the first piece of paper stuck to the door of your child’s room that says "groanups keep out". Later on, it’s time for more complicated writing projects such as handwritten birthday and Christmas cards – made possible by a secure grasp and a trained writing hand.
